Rainfall will continue to decrease until November 5

The estimates of the Water Research Institute indicate the continuation of the decrease in rainfall in the first and second degree catchment basins; So that until November 5, the rainfall situation is not considered favorable.

 

According to the report of the Economic Group, according to the announcement of the Water Research Institute, the situation of low rainfall in the new water year continues in the main and secondary watersheds of the country.

Based on this, for the week ending on November 5, rainfall is not expected for the southern regions of the country. In the week ending on November 5, all the main watersheds of the country will have different rainfalls, the heaviest of which will be the Central Plateau watershed and the least rainy will be the Qara Qom watershed.

It is predicted that the catchment area of ​​the central plateau will have a maximum rainfall of 27 mm and an average of 6 tenths of mm. The maximum rainfall of 17.9 mm and the average rainfall of three tenths of mm is predicted for the catchment area of ​​the Persian Gulf and the Oman Sea in the week ending on November 5.

The Caspian Sea catchment area will have a maximum rainfall of 9.2 mm and an average of 14 mm in the week ending on November 5. Also, according to forecasts, the catchment area of ​​Lake Urmia will have a maximum rainfall of 7.5 mm with an average rainfall of three tenths of a mm in the week ending on November 5.

Qara Qom catchment area will also experience the maximum rainfall of four tenths of millimeters with an average range of zero millimeters. The eastern border catchment area will have a maximum rainfall of 5/10 mm and an average rainfall of 0 mm. Also, the two catchment areas of the second grade of the country will be without rain.
